I used these directions as a starting point. But here are my slightly modified directions:
1) Place 2 candies side by side on wax paper
2) heat candies in oven for about 5-9 minutes at 200 degrees. Take cookie sheet out of the oven as soon as all the originally molded corners are gone and it's a big smooth blob. Just keep a close eye on them.

3) Lay sticks into place on melted candies. Slowly twirl in melted candy to coat the stick so it will hold. They're hot! Work quickly before the candies harden, but don't burn yourself. I made 6 suckers at a time so I didn't have to rush so much, and wore a winter glove so I was able to touch the pan a bit.
